Frank Sheffield is a retired Circuit Court Judge and a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association for 47 years. He holds degrees in Marketing from Florida State University and a JD from the Florida State University College of Law. He began his practice in Tallahassee in the Second Judicial Circuit in 1972 and for the next 38 years was a trial lawyer with a general practice, handling numerous types of cases with an emphasis on family law, criminal defense, and construction litigation. He provided representation to numerous businesses and private individuals. In 2008, he was elected to serve as a Circuit Court Judge in the State of Florida for the Second Judicial Circuit, where he served seven and one-half years, being assigned to handle general civil litigation, family law and criminal felony trials. He retired from the bench in December 2016 and returned to the practice of law. He then returned to the bench as a Senior Circuit Judge until December 2018.

PERSONAL
Frank was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Florida until relocating to his farm in Jefferson County in 2017. He and his wife, Jan, have four children and nine grandchildren. In his spare time, Frank enjoys gardening, woodworking and restoring old cars.
